Current Projects


Lane is an MFA Candidate in Directing at the University of Texas at Austin, class of 2020. 


Lane is currently shooting a series of short films on queer experiences of pornography. Each of the 7 films tells a story of discovery, expression, exploration, trauma, and more from writers across the LGBT+ spectrum. The films are shooting between June 2-July 28, 2019.

Lane is one of the writers on TRANSom, a devised play with an all-trans creative team. Running at Ground Floor Theatre August 15-31, 2019.

Lane is in festival distribution for a short film of their award-winning play "Addict Named Hal," which filmed May 5-7, 2018 in Austin, TX. “Hal” will show in the REEL Recovery Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA October 11-17, 2019 and in New York, NY November 1-7, 2019.

Lane is also in festival distribution and post-production for two new short films: “After You,” co-directed with Taylor Mansmann, and “Marigolds,” co-directed with Cristoforo Magliozzi. Both filmed in November 2018 in Austin, TX.

Lane’s play Sally McCoy will play at the Appalachian Center for the Arts in Pikeville, KY, September 12-October 4, 2019.

Lane’s queer farce Lipstick will have its World Premiere at Island City Stage in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, November 14-December 15, 2019.
